Individualizing Each Massage Specifically To His Client's Needs And Requests To Achieve A Common Goal
Blaise Martin has been practicing massage therapy for 10 years. His style is Swedish-based. Integrating a variety of modalities and techniques including: Deep Tissue/Sports, Shiatsu, Neuromuscular and Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Hydrotherapy and more.

BlaiseI began my studies in South Dakota with a "Granny" named Alice Smith. Alice had been practicing for over 50 years and had a wealth of experience from which to teach. Upon receiving my 150 hour certificate in Scientific Swedish massage and my membership with the American Massage Therapy Association, my hobby and passion slowly became my career.

After 3 years as a part-timer in the profession, my desire for more education led me to the Boulder School of Massage Therapy. I enrolled in their 1000 hour certification program which remains one of the most intensive and comprehensive curriculums in the country. I completed the program with honors in 1996. I then moved to the Bay Area.

After completing an internship in a hospital-based massage program I became familiar with a variety of diseases and pathologies including: multiple sclerosis, Chronic Fatigue, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, arthritis, cancer and Krohns. I also have experience with treating injuries such as whiplash, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, ACL and many more.

I have work experience with spas, health clubs, hospitals and hospices, yoga studios, chiropractors, sporting events, on-site corporate massage, weddings and dinner parties. I love what I do. When I'm not massaging I'm probably traveling, playing the fiddle, or at the beach with my coolest dog ever, Fury.

My studio is centrally located in Nob Hill near accessible mass transit.
